COMMUNITY CARE CIRCLE
Dear Neighbor -
As I close out my second year as Executive Director, I have been reflecting on what it means to be part of a community that consistently chooses care over indifference. While Collins Center is a small organization, the impact of our work is felt in profound, often unseen, moments in our community; such as when the 24/7 crisis hotline rings at 2am and a victim feels less alone, in the steady reassurance an advocate offers a caregiver whose child has been abused by someone they trusted, and when a child walks into the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) and realizes it’s a safe and comfortable place to share what happened to them.
This work is only possible because individuals and businesses in our community believe in showing up for one another.
Whether you are reading this as an individual or representative of a business, each time you give, you reinforce the safety net that supports survivors and first responders during their most difficult moments. You help maintain the network of support that is available when victims need us most.
As we enter this Season of Community Care, I am reminded of the extraordinary strength in our community—strength that shows up in compassion, in courage, and in the simple act of supporting one another. We see this strength in every survivor who walks through our doors seeking safety, justice, and healing.
In a world that often feels overwhelming, your contribution makes a tangible difference — one grounded not in urgency or crisis, but in community. As you reflect on your giving this season, I hope you’ll consider making a gift to sustain our essential services. Together, we can continue building a safer, more compassionate community — one where every survivor is heard, believed, and supported.
With sincere gratitude,
Erin Frazier, Executive Director
