The Collins Center is organizing the 3rd Annual Child Advocacy Center 5K Race & Fun Walk, to be held on Saturday, April 14th at Eastern Mennonite University (at the track) at 9:30 a.m. Click here to see course map.
All proceeds will benefit the Child Advocacy Center of Harrisonburg & Rockingham County. We are in need of volunteers, sponsors, in-kind donations, and of course, RUNNERS!
What We Need
- VOLUNTEERS – we will need at least a dozen or more volunteers on race day to help with a multitude of tasks. If you don’t feel like running but want to be involved, please consider volunteering your time. The race starts at 9:30, so we will need people as early as 7:30/8:00 am through as late as noon to help clean up. If you are interested in being a volunteer, please contact ana@thecollinscenter.org

- IN-KIND DONATIONS – Races are not complete without refreshments at the finish line and raffle items for the runners. If you are interested in providing a donation, please contact angie@thecollinscenter.org
- RUNNERS & WALKERS – pre-register by March 29th for $20 to guarantee yourself a t-shirt. Registrations after March 29th are $25 and will receive no shirt. Click here to register online or here for a printable registration form that can be mailed in.
The Child Advocacy Center is a great resource and service to our community. Please support the CAC by becoming involved in our third 5K event.
