On July 23, Ana Arias, associate director and a therapist at the Collins Center joined Tom Graham of WMRA’s Virginia Insight, to talk about child sexual abuse. If you missed their thought provoking discussion, it’s not too late to listen to it here. The Collins Center believes we can prevent child sexual abuse through education, promoting healthy sexuality, and adult responsibility. Children have too long been held responsible for keeping themselves safe and it is time for adults to step up, have uncomfortable conversations, and protect children. If we are too uncomfortable to speak up as adults, how can we expect a child to?
