The Collins Center held two days of training this week for early childhood professionals. Tuesday’s training covered Nurturing Healthy Sexual Development, which helps participants better understand the sexual development of children, and how to respond to children’s sexual behaviors and questions in ways that promote healthy development. Wednesdays training discussed Care for Kids, a curriculum that teaches children positive messages about their bodies through a variety of tools and encourages adults to take responsibility for child sexual abuse prevention.
